We always ask, "Why is it that God takes the good ones first?"  I am asking the question again today. 

     REST IN PEACE ASHLEY! 

You were a beautiful woman and we will miss you dearly on Isidingo. 

To her family, we feel your pain just as much, may God grant you strength through this difficult time.

Oh my God just saw this here, I did not watch the News this is really sad, may her soul rest in peace. To her family we hope u will find strength in this difficult time and know that God does not make a mistake he had a reason y he choose to take her at her young age.

Out of all the actresses in the world why did it have to be her?! She wasn't only my favourite local actress, but my favourite actress full stop. As an aspiring actress myself I was, no, I am (can't bring myself to use past tense) so inspired by her, by all she has acheived and how even with her fame she stayed so humble and so grounded. Why do such incredible role models get snatched from us so tragically while people like Paris Hilton live drama after despicable drama and stay on this earth to taint the impressionable youth with their filthy morals??? I'm not wishing them any harm, it just doesn't seem fair at all! In a world with so few angels, why must we keep losing them?! I have to believe it was God's will but that doesn't mean I'll ever understand it! If I, we, can learn one thing from this tragedy it's never to give up on our dreams- Ashley never gave up on hers. And as I type this through a fuzzy lens of tears I can only thank God for the brief time He gave South Africa with His precious angel & I know she's up in heaven with him right now. My thoughts and prayers are with her family, her friends and collegues and all her many fans.
Godspeed Miss Callie, you will be sorely missed, but never forgotten.

We live in very troublesome and uncertain times. With all the worldwide disasters and wars, most people see a dark and fearful future and have no idea of their eternal destiny. There are so many religions in the world that people don't know which way to turn. The question of what is beyond the grave has always been on man's mind. The Bible says that God has set eternity in the hearts of men. Life after death is a mystery to many but God has made it clear that each of us will stand before Him one day. The decisions you make in this life will determine where you spend eternity.

The Bible says, "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). It also says, "Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account." (Hebrews 4:13). Your life is an open book before God. He sees all your sin as though it just happened and you must give an account of your life to Him one day. The day is coming when each of us will stand before the Judge of all the earth. If your sin is not dealt with, before this day, then you will face death because the Bible says, "the wages of sin is death" (Romans 6:23). This death is called the second death and is an eternal separation from God, in hell

The Bible describes hell as a place of eternal torment, forever separated from God. In Matthew 25:46, Jesus said that the unrighteous "will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life." Clearly both life in heaven and punishment in hell are eternal. 

Whatever hell is, it is certainly a place to fear because God is going to pour His anger out on those who reject His Son ... for ever and ever. God allowed Jesus to suffer greatly, without mercy, on the cross to bring us to Himself. How much more is He going punish those who reject His offer of forgiveness? 

If your life is right with God then eternal you have but if not hell. I am not telling you this to scare you or anything but that you must have an understanding and not be lead astray. Whether you believe it or not its all up to you.

@ Tatiana - The producers will kill off her character, remember Isidingo is a reality soapie, so if something happens in real life they try to incoperate it in their script, and vele that is the "appropriate" thing to do, since the cast is mourning her death in real life coz at the moment apparently things are very sour and all the members of Isidingo are going to truama counselling cos they are all in shock and despair!!!!

ayy people this is very sad, I heard this on the day she passed, Thursday I think from the presenter just before Isidingo so imagine my hurt and pain when I saw her a few seconds after they announced her death. I also feel like I knew her personally, such a great actress she was, she truly drew you in.

What kills me the most is the fact that i have voted for her inthe category Best Actress on the Mzansi Star Award.  I really wish she could talke it she was doing such an amaizing job in Isidingo.

Its my first time here.

Just wanna pass my condolences to the Callie family and to South Africa as a whole.

I do agree with Positivity that it is not personal, we wanna know exactly how the accident happened. As for the other people in the other car, how r they doing-does anybody know.

its so hard for some1 who's a cherel (michele botes) fan to sympathise with ashley but i understand the fact that this is real life now not a story. she wasn't my favorite actress offcourse and so is barker mara her death is so sad. al miss her dearly.
