Last week
Louis Hand made his comeback to
The Biggest Loser SA after winning The Biggest Loser Extra and this week he got himself eliminated.
Instead of the usual weigh-in, the final five fatties spent the episode huffing and puffing through the heart of the Drakensberg to save themselves from the vote.
Shakeel finished the challenge in second-last position, Louis finished last and the pair went up against each other in a vote-down which resulted in the unanimous ousting of Louis' 137.3kg booty.
Sharon, who won the challenge: "The four of us (Sharon, Shakeel, John and Asanda) made a promise that if at any stage we could get Louis off we would, simply because we've worked so hard to get to where we are.
"We didn't think it was fair that one of us go home and someone that's come back into the house then makes it to the end - but I learnt long ago that promises in this game don't really mean a hang of a lot."
Reasons given by everyone for their vote:Sharon: "Today's vote - we didn't have a lot of time to sit and think about who we were going to vote for so I just had to base my vote on a promise that I made to someone and strategy - who would be the best person to go out in terms of who would it be easier for me to beat if I make it to the final three."
John: "For me it wasn't easy because both these guys are really good friends of mine but I had to think strategically. Like Sharon said, if I make it to the final three, who I have the better chance with."
Asanda: "For me it was the same, I had to think of who's the person I stand a better chance against if I get to the Top 3. The guys are both deserving to go on but I had choose which one I'd survive better against and have a better chance."
