Contestants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Anyone who fails to register on the first day will not be able to audition later on, so it’s crucial to get there early.
The auditions will commence at 09h00 in each city.
Everyone who registers will be asked to audition for a panel of industry professionals in three categories: singing, dancing and acting. Auditionees can sing any popular song they feel comfortable with and perform any dance routine.
Upon registration they will be given a scripted piece from Disney Channel’s High School Musical movie to prepare for the acting audition.
Every contestant must audition in all three categories to qualify.
Those who make it through the initial audition on the Friday will be asked back for the next round of auditions on the Saturday and the Sunday. It will be a long, tough weekend for all involved, so it is recommended that all participants bring along everything they need to stay comfortable - something to eat, enough water to drink and jackets, scarves, wraps and beanies to keep warm.
If you're off to the auditions - break a leg!
