Overheard: Wentworth Miller - SO Gay

Yesterday I was chatting to two incredibly biased sources - aka peeps who seriously know their stuff when it comes who's gay or not - and according to them Wentworth Miller's 99.999999999999999999999999999999999999999999, basically 100% gay.

I didn't know this, but some time last year Perez Hilton reported that Wentworth's dating Brother & Sisters star Luke Macfarlane, who plays gay character Scotty in the series.

Wentworth's denied it natch - he told Entertanment Wise: "I’m not gay, but that rumour can’t be killed. I’d like to have a girlfriend and a family. But I haven’t met the right one yet." - which he would say 'cos of how heartthrob actors feel they need to hide it.

The more I think about it the more convinced I am - all that brother-lurve he's got going on's too overly dedicated, 'spesh when he stares at Linc through the prison gates.

Also rumoured to swing the other or both ways:

Egoli's Shaleen Surtie Richards - seen flirting with Maureen at the BBAfrica2 Finale.
BBAfrica 1's Stefan Ludik - was apparently all over a guy at a party.

PS: As much as he needs a slap, the general consensus from everyone everywhere is that Perez Hilton's always right about such things.

But aren't celebrities entitled to some degree of privacy? After all, most of them become celebrities as a result of being good at something eg. acting, music, sport.

Yes, some enjoy the limelight and take advantage of their celebrity status, but what of those who don't? Obviously they have to expect that their private lives can't be entirely private, but shouldn't there be some boundaries?

If Wentworth Miller is actually gay then shouldn't he be allowed to be the one who determines how and when that information is revealed? And if he's not gay then he's been placed in a situation where any attempt to prove he's not will just result in claims that he's trying to hide it.
