SYTYCD SA: Eliminated - Louisa & Katlego

It's four weeks into the So You Think You Can Dance live shows and last night (Tuesday, 30 Sept.) saw the competition reach a new benchmark as Louisa Talbot and Katlego Khunou got eliminated - despite both dancers being able to dance.

Over the past few weeks those who've been eliminated bordered on the edge of being deluded but now things are getting to the point of Harold's wise words aka "The dancers are only as good as their last dance."

The Results show opened with dancers doing a hip hop intro. followed by the results of viewers votes. The bottom three couples were:Katlego and Elizma, who danced the Waltz on Saturday's show; Louisa and Thabiso who Krumped; and Tania and Nqaba who danced Broadway.

The sixsome each danced for their lives and then faced their Didi/David/Harold firing squad.

Before eliminating Louisa, Harold commented that the judges hadn't been uninanimious in their decision - an aftermath of their conflict about Louisa's krumping during Saturday night's show.

Didi took flack from both David and Harold over her harsh comments to several contestants. Louisa in particular came in for some strong Didi-isms: “You are the sexiest couple in the show but no-one said you have to get ugly with it,” were her comments to them after their angry krump.

In the end her views krumped Harold and David - who also seemed be influenced by Louisa's dance for her life, saying it wasn't her best.

Louisa said goodbye, had a cry with Sade and Thabiso, Katlego and Nqaba faced the jury. Harold commented that the judges wanted Katlego to be more than a good, stable partner to Elizma and announced that he'd be going home too.

Tania and Nqaba - Paso Doble
Megan and Darren -Jazz
Kim and Ashley - Hip Hop (slow)
Lee and Taekwondo - Afro Fusion (fast)
Thabiso and Elizma - Kwaito

Katlego was limiting Elizma, he was start to be Siphumelele on IWTSG..same dance genre different weeks...even on his solo last nyt he was throwing ballroom moves...He disappointed, and he deserved to be eliminated!!! Louisah yena it was about time!!

What was with Louisa's outfit, mara? i was so unhappy with her leaving. i still think Louisa is a better dancer than Tania. Maybe Didi is Tania's long-lost aunt or something.

Louisa was very gracious last night, and Katlego, shame he was always going to be overshadowed by Elizma.

My faves are Mega/Darren and Kim/Ash who I thought were spectacular in their contemporary routine on Saturday.

Thabiso must be shaking in his boots then cause we've heard nothing but praise for Elizma from Errol and David. in ballroom, isn't a man supposed to JUST lead and support his partner? What else did they want Katlego to do mara? I felt they were putting uncessary pressure on the poor bloke!

I usually do not watch this show and on Saturday i also could not tell if Louisa was male or female.  Have to agree with Didi's comments.

@ SMB They dance again on Tuesdays @ 7 & got fired if u didnt convinced Didi i mean the judges. (I think Didi was bitchy on Sat even small mistakes she will just go on & on & make it a big issue...... I missed yesterdays show but i remember on Sat they complained about Katlego for not showing it all or what he made of. But there is this one judge who always say K is a gentleman & honestly he is. I have been watching his hands everytime he dances & ohhhh boy he is so caring, warm & gentle LOL. Really guys im gonna miss him & Im so dissapointed coz i thought he will be in the top 2. Maar im glad his partner is still there & i also like this chick & her body damn woman hahahaha (dont b scared im not lesbain bakithi maar im just appreciating the nature). Anyway almost bonke bayathandeka shame. ......

u Thabiso must be really worried right now kaloku during the auditions u Louisa was sent straight to Jhb just like Thabiso, which meant she was really good and impressed the judges, but ngoku she is out of the competition, mna personally I think apart from being a good dancer one should look the part and convince aboo thina ukuba sikuvotele, so far it has worked very well for u Elizma. Yazi nam I feel for u Nqaba, Khayelitsha is not the ideal place for Nqaba to go back to, if he doesn't win( which I doubt he will) it might even be better if he be in the top 3 so that he can get some form of recognition so that angalahli ithemba because Khayelitsha can do that to a person believe me.

i used to feel Nqaba when he dance and i used to be so proud and i would be like"that dude really represents us" and now im very disappointed i dont know whether it is me but Nqaba does not adjust well to other dance styles and i think this would be his down fall. But for now i still cross fingers for him.

I agree.

Guys, I am so happy Nqaba was saved, he so deserves to go further. As for Elizma, she is phenomenal, I really love watching her dance!!!

i also agree with you Tox Louisa is a better dancer than Tania, i was hoping Tania would be the one voted out... and that Didi judge is trying soo hard to be the bad wolf so much that she doesn't even see when dancers have danced well.. i was also smiling when Harold told her that she was talking rubbish and after that she improved a bit rather than always looking for mistakes where there is none..

Tania and Thabiso should have been booted out IMHO!Darren and Megan are the best worth out a doubt!

Mina I think Thabiso is a great dancer and "sorry to say" I'm glad Louisa is out, she was too stiff.  He now has a partner who is as great as he is.  I think Elizma and Thabiso compliment each other very well, they will be the new couple to challenge.
