To celebrate the fact that it is turning into a full 24-hour channel from 1 May 2007, actionX is rolling out a hi-tech roadshow to showcase action technology, and are inviting one and all to take a shot at starring in their own action clip - live.
Right there, outside the Pick 'n Pay.
You can become
Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible or
Keanu Reeves in
The Matrix or test your supernatural powers as Superman or Spiderman.
The public will be invited to select one movie clip from a selection of six predetermined clips, get changed into movie wardrobe and will then be given the chance to act as the hero in their own movie clip, in front of a green screen.
The producers will make use of live green screen technology and the process of creating an action sequence will happen right then and there.
As you can imagine, the results should prove both informative and amusing.
All participants will receive a free DVD with their own clip, and can also stand a chance to win an advanced driver training course.
