Call me slow, but I picked up an article dated 6 July 2007 (today only) that talks about SABC 1 shows LIVE and RGB. What caught my eye was the statement, “Trevor Noah also does not fit in. Someone with Sbu’s charisma would have done well." I have no beef with Sbu, but here are my 5 reasons why TREVOR NOAH is just fine for RGB.
1. The brother is HOT!!!!
Need I say more????
2. His vernacular ability.
He speaks 6 different SA languages and uses this ability well. What makes this more special is that he looks like a coloured and as Loyiso Gola says, we coloureds can't speak any language properly.
3. His interview skills.
Ok, I know that it comes with the job, but he has this unique manner of posing "sensitive” questions or "forcing" an issue when doing interviews.
4. His sense of humour
I'm not saying other presenters aren't funny, but the man is a stand-up comedian so he knows how to make simple things come across as funny.
5. His smile
and dimple. What can I say............
