The Forgotten is an American television drama series created by Mark Friedman and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer Television in association with Warner Bros. Television about a team of dedicated amateurs who work on cases involving unidentified victims.
The series premiered in the USA on ABC on 22 September, 2009. Episodes are an hour long.
The Forgotten premiered in South Africa on M-Net Action on Thursday 11 March 2010, at 18h00. New episodes air weekly. There are 18 episodes in the first season.

Synopsis
From executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer comes a crime show in which a team of dedicated amateurs - The Forgotten Network - work on cases involving unidentified victims.
After the police have given up, this group, led by Alex Donovan, must first solve the puzzle of the victim's identity in order to then help catch the killer.
These are citizen volunteers solving extraordinary crimes. Their persistence and compassion for the cases put them on a personal and emotional journey that focuses on giving names back to the deceased.
They work to give the deceased back their names, lest they become - The Forgotten.
