Season 2
A documentary strand that honours and celebrates women's achievements in media. This season is about the world of media and South African women of different races and backgrounds who have made and permanently left their mark in the television, radio and print world.
We meet and celebrate just a handful of women from a pool of powerful ladies in various media scenes who have dismissed and broken through stereotypical boundaries that come with being a woman in a male dominated society and industry today.
We meet women who have excelled at making themselves known for their hard work, dedication and accomplishments. This film seeks to reveal the woman behind the success and the journey towards it.
Utilizing archive footage, photographs and interviews, it explores and exposes what and who the real woman is.
The four women featured this season were chartered accountant Nonkululeko Gobodo, entrepreneur Johanna Mukoki, AngloGold CFO Christine Ramon and self-made millionaire entrepreneur Ipeleng Mkhari.
