Season 2
Raw Silk is a South African reality competition television series in which aspiring fashion designers compete in weekly challenges, receiving mentoring and guidance, with one contestant leaving each week until a winner is crowned.
Each episode sees the 13 hopefuls going head to head to see which of them is the right material to be the next fashion designer extraordinaire. The show takes raw talent and transforms it into a well packaged designer with a bright future.
Each week the designers are given a brief and are followed by a camera crew as they go about doing their research, buying suitable material, doing measurements and sewing.
At the end of the task each designer showcases their work in front of the three judges and one designer's dream is shattered by elimination at the end of every episode.
