Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares is a British food-themed reality makeover television series featuring British celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, in which he visits a failing restaurant each week and acts as a troubleshooter to help improve the establishment in just seven days.
The series premiered in the UK on Channel 4 on 27 April, 2004. There are 30 hour-long episodes in five seasons to date.
An American adaptation of this show, titled Kitchen Nightmares, debuted in the USA on FOX on 19 September, 2007.
Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares premiered in South Africa on DStv's BBC Food channel in 2006.
Synopsis
