Season 3

Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps (commonly shortened to Two Pints or Two Pints of Lager) is a British television sitcom created by Susan Nickson and produced by the BBC and set in the town of Runcorn in Cheshire, England which revolves around the lives of five twentysomethings.

The title was inspired by the 1980 hit single "Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps Please" by Splodgenessabounds.

The series premiered in the UK on BBC Two on 26 February, 2001. There are eight seasons to date.

Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps premiered in South Africa on DStv's BBC Prime (now BBC Entertainment) channel in 2003.

Synopsis

Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps follows the lives of five characters, bumming their way through life, desperately trying to avoid the responsibilities of adulthood for as long as possible.

Donna (Natalie Casey) is the gobby one of the group and is proud of her ability to swear like a trooper whilst simultaneously downing a pint and smoking a fag.

Janet (Sheriden Smith) lives contentedly with boyfriend Jonny and can usually be found at home on the sofa picking her feet or in the pub talking rubbish with Donna.

Jonny (Ralf Little) is a sweet devoted boyfriend to Janet but it's fair to say that he's not the sharpest tool in the box.

Gaz (Will Mellor) loves himself, Man City, beer, sex and Man City. He's currently dating Donna although they've never actually been on a date.

Louise (Kathryn Drysdale) is a few sandwiches short of a picnic and desperate to get her own man, who is preferably her perfect horoscope match.

Donna's acid mother Flo (Beverly Callard) is always on hand to offer completely inappropriate advice about men and top up martinis.
