Jabulani, the snake is caught!I must admit I had a good giggle last night when Jabulani was caught out in his lies and forced to give back the R20 000 he was prepared to scam his uncle out of.
It all started with things going wrong in the negotiations because Jabulani was trying to milk Sibusiso and as he saw his plan taking effect and going smoothly, he got greedy and told Sibusiso that Ntombi’s father wanted more, S’bu foolishly believed his uncle and directed his wrath at Ntombi’s dad (behind his back off course).
Meanwhile a good friendship was developing between S’bu and Khapela since they became business partners and as time went on we saw S’bu confide in Khapela about the lobola negotiations. Khaphela didn’t believe that the chief would blatantly continue raising the price when it didn’t make any sense at all, he had his own suspicions about S’bu’s sneaky uncle but kept silent. Instead he asked Sibusiso if he could represent him at the final negotiations, he has a hunch about something but he’s not willing to say anything until he’s absolutely sure.
Jabulani had no idea about Khapela joining them in the negotiations so he was licking his lips like the cat who ate the canary when S’bu handed over the
R80 000, in cash might I add, he couldn’t stop looking at the money and eventually he managed to take his R20 000 profit he made out of the deal and quickly snuck it into his pocket.
Upon arriving at the chief’s place, everything was going smoothly as Jabulani was just about to hand over the money to the chief when a knock came on the door. As expected, it was Khapela!
Everyone was surprised to see Khapela and to hear he was there on Sibusiso’s behalf. Imagine the look of surprise when Khapela started mentioning the figures agreed upon. The chief looked confused, Jabulani looked terrified and tried to discredit Khapela but the chief and his brother were very interested to hear what Khapela had to say.
As the truth of Jabulani’s deception came to the fore, he tried to escape but the chief and his cronies made sure they got the R20 000 back before throwing him out.
Naturally when Sibusiso heard what his uncle had almost gotten away with, he was livid. Like Ntombi,I feared for Sibusiso’s heart as he kept ranting and raving and calling Jabulani names, eventually he threw him out like the rotten apple that he was. Good riddance to bad rubbish!
Ntombi and Sibusiso couldn’t thank Khapela enough for saving the day.
With the final hurdle out of the way, will their wedding go ahead as planned? Will Grace move into the Big Brother house?Things have been rather hectic for Grace since she got fired from Ezweni. Yeah she walked into her uncles’ company and got settled into working for Ntombi but she was not a happy girl in the least.
Her dad, Paul Mashaba, who we have yet to see, wonder if he’s as intimidating as his brother Kenneth, obviously has some mega issues with his brother and he doesn’t want his daughter anywhere near her uncle. When he heard that Grace had started working for him, he was angry and demanded that she move back to Cape Town otherwise he will cut her off financially.
She went to Kenneth and told him about her dilemma and he asked her if she wanted to stick around in Jozi to which she immediately said yes. He then asked her to move into his house, to live him and Dineo.
Grace if I were you girl, I would run a mile. Who wants to live in that tension filled atmosphere with cameras watching your every move? Well Grace doesn’t know that off course and her uncle Kenny has been sweeter than honey around her. Besides what other choice does she really have?
Wonder if her and Ajax will be getting together, its clear as daylight they have the hots for each other but then there’s Ajax’s tour coming up as well and I really wouldn’t mind if those brothers go on tour for like 6 months to a year, just get boring Zamani off my screen.
Who’s more mentally challenged, Kenneth or Dineo? You tell me, who’s more crazy, Dineo for staying in a marriage where she’s treated as a prisoner or Kenneth for treating his wife like his personal plaything?
Things have been going from bad to worse for Dineo, she dared to go out on her own to Tsalanang where she got royally pissed, same like last time. Only this time Samuel has the sense to take her home before she smashed her luxury car again.
When they got to Dineo’s house, Kenneth was watching her on his laptop. When he saw her drunken state and her crying these huge crocodile tears on Samuel’s shoulders, he made his way to them and crapped on Samuel’s head for dare touching his wife, he threw poor Samuel out before he could get a word in edgewise. That’s what you get for playing the good guy.
Poor Dinny, when she got ready for work the next day, Kenny told her she’s not going anywhere, she’s staying at home for a few days to rest. He gave Ace instructions to watch his wife like a hawk, to follow her around if needs be.
He made sure he took away her car keys so that she doesn’t leave the house and has told everyone at work that she needs lots of rest and does not need anyone phoning her.
Everyone seems to be concerned about Dinoe, Sharon spoke to Zamani about it, Samuel is worried, Ntombi didn’t look convinced when Kenneth told her that his wife just needs bedrest.
Meanwhile it’s clear by the comments that Kenny is making that he’s trying to make Dineo doubt herself, making her think she’s losing her mind, going off her rocker co’s she “lost” her keys and suddenly it just appeared by her bedside when she was sure she had looked there.
What’s Kenny’s plan with his wife?Who’s after Busi? You guys have to fill me in here, not sure if I’m getting this right but there’s definitely something amiss in Busi’s office. A few episodes ago we saw two guys dressed as workers coming into Busi’s office, apparently to work on the air conditioning.
The thing is, since then Busi has not been feeling well, she breaks out into a sweat, is hot and feeling faint and normally I would dismiss all of these symptoms but then the same thing happened to Anne when she was in Busi’s office using her computer.
Later when Anne went to her own office she was feeling better. Last night we saw Busi again feeling ill and she fell asleep at her desk and woke up at about 01:00 in the morning feeling dizzy. As she tried to get up and made her way to the door, she passed out.
What’s going on? Who’s out to get Busi? Will Queen and Steve make it to the altar?Queen and Steve have had a whirlwind romance and are now engaged after Princie confessed to letting the ring go down the drain. In a very wet but spontaneous moment, Steve proposed to Queen and now the two or rather Queen is excitedly planning her wedding.
The thing is Steve has been offered a job by rival company Funky Fashions and he seems concerned over whether he should accept or not. It sounds like a job to die for, with all the perks but why is Steve looking so glum?
He did mention to Queen that the job involved lots of traveling but I don’t think Queen even heard him and last night as Steve was pouring out his heart to Samuel, he mentioned that Queen was not going to like it if he does accept.
What could it be? Does taking the job mean Steve will have to re-locate? What do you think?GenerationsSABC 1Mondays - Fridays20:00
