SA gospel star dies after a long illness

Award-winning gospel singer Vuyo Mokoena has died. Mokoena passed away this morning after a long illness.

He has been out of the music industry for some time after being diagnosed with blood cancer and a brain tumour.

We only come to this world for a period of time, and we all know that one day we well leave to our etrnal life, whats sad is that we dont know when. The dark cloud of death just cathces us when we least expecting and digs deep holes in our souls. I am deeply saddenined by one of my role models of old time's departure, but i know that God has a special place for him in heaven. He ahs completed his inspiration and teachings on earth, he is therefore much needed up there. To his family and fans. "akuhlanga lungehliyo", God doesnt give you pain knowing you cant handle it, he has soo much faith in us let ius show the same faith in him, for "akulahlwa mbeleko ngakufelwa. MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PEACE

I guess all we can say is "RIP" but still, this is just too terrible.

Rapists and people that kill others simply because they belong to a different country are still roaming the streets.

It's just not fair. Why is it people that have the potential to change the world, that end up dying???? Why???

The devil is really on the loose.

...people that kill others simply because they belong to a different country...

I meant to say, people that kill others simply because they happened to be born in a country that is under a a different government.

Mr editor, you were wrong to say he has been out for some time. His last project (which was mind blowing) was Avulek'amazulu, released in 2007. Then he passed away the following year.
