He was the iconic Oliver Queen on Smallville for five seasons, he currently plays plastic surgeon Scott on Mistresses and now Justin Hartley's arrived on Young and the Restless.
He made his debut this week as the new Adam Newman, stepping into the scandalous shoes of Michael Muhney who was fired from the role last year. Things were very hush-hush when it happened. No official word was released on why he was given the boot.
According to Michael it was because he was a big mouth who had too much to say beyond the show and
according to TMZ it was because he sexually harassed and groped Hunter King, who plays Summer - which Michael denied.
Adam disappeared from the show and went into hiding for a couple of months as a result and then Justin was cast to fill the bad boy void. Adam's return as someone new has been explained through plastic surgery - he had facial reconstruction after faking his death and he's returned in the guise of
Gabriel Bingham. His goal: to get his former life back as Adam.
And he's going to do anything to get it including conning a wheelchair bound woman. M*A*S*H veteran Sally Kellerman arrives on the scene next week Wednesday (5 August) as Constance Bingham, a victim of Adam's con who believes he's her grandson Gabriel.
