TLC is on a search to cast the channel's first African presenter for a new show starting on the channel called TLC Top 10.
The series starts later this year and will feature commentary on TLC's top 10 shows with a focus on the following genres: weddings, mega mom’s, intriguing families and extreme passions.
The channel is looking to sign a presenter to host the show and the search is open to everyone from across the continent.
Who should enter?
The channel is looking for a confident, entertaining and engaging presenter who is passionate and knowledgeable about TLC.
You should be a genuine, enthusiastic, vibrant fan and a fit for the channel in terms of your attitude.
How to audition
Auditions are happening online, via video upload on the
Next Great Presenter website.
You need to upload a two-minute video audition that showcases your presenting skills. You also need to explain why you're the perfect presenter.
The website's going to feature a pre-written script which you will need to read too. The details will be on the site when the entry process opens.
Each video audition will be reviewed by a panel of experts and the best candidates will be shortlisted. The ultimate winner will be chosen by viewers and will land the TLC Top 10 presenting gig in November.
Entry dates
The search begins on Sunday, 9 August and you'll be able to apply until Thursday, 3 September. All details will be available on the website from the 9th.
