Morakile has fled to his mother’s house for refuge. The wedding preps are under way. The Sangoma reveals to Nqobile what her dream about Bonngoe meant. Sharon finds a way to get rid of the princess for good and she is adamant that she's getting rid of her. Morakile is slowly giving up and the future looks bleak for him.

Thakane lies to Mostamai about who Nthatisi is. Maru and Oarabile are officially married. Maru is legally made the head of the Makhethas business. Atleha wants Maru to give him a more respectable position. Sharon has a plan up her sleeve... how far is she willing to go in order to get rid of the princess permanently?

Episode 37
Sharon poisons the pot with shellfish powder. Tselane is not taking it well that Maru is a married man. Oarabile begs Thabiso not to give up on them.
Oarabile digs in to the poisoned stew. Oarabile lets Kgomotso in on her plan. Tselane catches on that her mother is onto something. Oarabile collapses from the poison.

Episode 38
Everyone panics around the collapsed Princess and Maru carries her out like a hero. Maru reveals the princess is dead and everyone struggles to accept the truth. Msomi accuses Maru of foul play, but Maru denies it, but is left fearing Tselane did it.

Episode 39
Maru confirms Atleha’s position as the new family spokesman, standing up to Thakane’s demands. Msomi has enough and ends his relationship with Maru. Morakile starts to understand the realities of being poor Tselane begs Maru to believe she had nothing to do with the princess’s death but Maru ends their relationship.

Episode 40
Foloko inspires Tokelo to take charge of his situation to win Mapule back. Sharon is absolute that she did the right thing, despite Tselane’s angry attitude. Tokelo’s plan to win Mapule back gets off to a bumpy start.

Episode 41
Mapule returns home to find Tokelo in her house. Things get messy with Tokelo and Mapule, which results in Tokelo shoving her into a wall. Xolani is released from prison.

Episode 42
Xolani wants Kgomotso to help take Maru down. Kgosi agrees to Xolani’s proposal to call a truce and take Maru down.

Episode 43
Morakile finally finds Nqobile’s phone number. His bubble bursts when Sibahle tells him to stay away from Nqobile. Kgosi shocks the Makhethas by calling off the resort deal.

Episode 44
Morakile and Nqobile are united. Kgomotso and Xolani plot, she’s the brains and he’s the muscle. Thakane wants to meet with Nqobile. Kgomostso reveals the plan to Kgosi and any doubts Kgosi had about Xolani are quelled.

Episode 45
Xolani and Kgomotso spell out their plan to Kgosi, who thinks it’s a mistake, but Xolani is firm. Kgomotso begins training Xolani into how to fit into the world of the rich.
Kgosi has put together a fake identity dossier for Xolani to memorise. Nqobile finds her mother’s old letter in Thakane’s office and realises that her mother lied to her.

Episode 46
Nqobile confronts her mother about her lies, but Sibahle’s rationalizations just make things worse. Maru discovers more about Nthatisi, and sees a photo of her as a ten year old. Maru feels deeply betrayed by Bonngoe’s obvious love for Nthatisi.
Nqobile is so ripped up by her father’s desires that Morakile becomes determined to see her be acknowledged, but she doesn’t want that, she just wants Maru to pay for murder.

Episode 47
Xolani gets a makeover. Welile sets up Mapule on a blind date and she is not impressed. Mapule lambasts her about the date. Thakane busts Nqobile in her office. Tokelo is depressed but determined to turn his life around. Thakane realises that someone took and replaced the letters.

Episode 48
Thakane feels anxious as she contemplates the missing letter. Morakile realises Nqobile didn’t return all the letters, and Nqobile is glad Morakile has taken handling things on, because she’s actually disgusted by the family. Mapule rejects Welile’s apologies, but sexual tensions continue rising between her and Msomi.

Episode 49
Kgomotso tells Xolani its time to go to Bloemfontein but she reminds him of the importance of restraint. Sibahle confronts Thakane for being a grave robber. Nqobile finds the Legacy room, but Maru interrupts her before she can return the branch. Xolani arrives at the hotel.

Episode 50
Xolani books a room into the hotel for a week. He sells himself as a serious businessman. Nqobile confesses who she really is but promises to leave and never come back. Maru prevents her, she wants to know if he is going to kill her like he killed Bonngoe.

Episode 51
Maru is found with a gun by Sharon and Tselane. Maru fills Sharon and Tselane on how delicate the situation with Nqobile is, Sharon offers to help Maru kill Nqobile. Nqobile has taken refuge at Miriam’s house, she’ll stay there until her and Morakile work out a solid plan on.

Episode 52
Morakile tries to convince Nqobile that all will be fine but she isn’t convinced. Msomi has made clear that he wants Mapule but he doesn’t want to play games or stand between her and Tokelo.
Atleha almost messes up a deal by sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong. Thakane comes to rescue and save the day. Xolani accepts to do business with her, there’s sexual tension between the two.
