David is in two minds about Brenda, and Dolly gives him an idea to ease the pain for both of them. Bash gets into a fight with Zolani. Kop urges Reneilwe to turn back to the church. Mapula uses her leverage to blackmail Sabelo.

David preps Brenda to go to Solomon’s home, but things don’t turn out well for her. Reneilwe is upset to discover that Bash had spoken about what happened to her. Bash tells Reneilwe that Zolani is laying charges against him.

Lerato discovers Solomon crouching over Brenda with the murder weapon. Kop is disappointed when Reneilwe refuses to go to church. Bash apologises to Zolani. Sabelo finds out there is prize money for the dance contest. David is going through a hard time.

Emmanuel backs Mapula up. Puleng makes a drastic decision about her future. Bash tries to confess his feelings for Reneilwe. David is happy that Solomon is blaming Lerato.

David mourns Brenda. Solomon continues to believe that Lerato has it in for him. Sabelo takes Mapula through her first steps towards becoming a pantsula dancer.

Bash is crushed when he’s friend-zoned by Reneilwe. Puleng shuts Themba out. David is freaked out when he starts seeing Brenda again. Doc is conflicted about helping break Solomon out of jail.

Doc and Lerato engineer Solomon's escape. Lerato pushes for Solomon to sign Red Records over to her.
Reneilwe has mixed feelings over Bash’s implied feelings for her. Sabelo pushes Mapula too hard.

Bash loses his job to Themba. Sindiswa’s ploy to get Emmanuel to be her matric dance date is shattered. Zinzi promises to help her friend win Emmanuel over. Doc clashes with Lerato about what Bongi did and he grows bitter towards Bongi.

Doc wants Bongi’s forgiveness. Reneilwe comes clean to Bash about the whiskey. Emmanuel has made up his mind - he wants to take Mapula to the dance.
