Prepare to watch Brenda Ngxoli showcasing her vocals in the musical drama series Hustle when it premieres on e.tv in September.
It was tucked away on eKasi+ for a first run earlier this year and now it's eventually arriving on e.tv.
It premieres on Monday, 26 September at 21h30, replacing Umlilo once it ends, and follows Kitt (played by Brenda), a has-been 80s diva who wants to make a comeback.
Kitt released hit after hit to her adoring fans and performed to sold-out crowds on the biggest stages in the 80s, but now, her career has crashed.
She got her start performing in a group The Sparrows, with her sister and best friend, and her extraordinary voice and hot ambition made her stand out. When the chance came to go solo, she grasped it - without looking back.
But this fame is a distant memory now so Kitt decides to make a comeback and the series captures her rough journey back to the top of the charts. It explores how she has to save herself from being publicly burned and humiliated in her attempt to reclaim stardom.
The series also stars Dineo Ranaka, Zolisa Xaluva, Mothusi Magano, Masello Montana, Andile Nebulane and Lungelo Lubelwana.
