2018 SAFTAs: call for entries

The National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF) has put out their annual call to South African productions to submit entries for the 2018 South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs).

The awards will be held between 22 and 24 March next year and entries opened on Friday, 1 September 2017.

The deadline for all submissions this year (TV and film): Monday, 16 October 2017.

The basic guidelines for the eligibility of entries are as follows:

- All South African TV content submitted for consideration must have been produced and publicly exhibited or broadcast in South Africa between 1 August 2016 and 31 October 2017.

- All feature films submitted must have been exhibited publicly to a paying audience for a minimum of 7 consecutive days in aggregate during 1 January 2017 to 31 December 2017.
