The search for our Future continues with a new season...
SABC1's reality competish One Day Leader has been renewed for Season 7 and applications are open for aspiring leaders.
As with previous seasons, the show wants visionary participants between the ages of 18 and 25.
The format remains the same too: six young people showcase their leadership skills by tackling modern day South African social, economic and political issues as a way of competing for the title of One Day Leader.
The show follows the story of the evolution of these six young people from ordinary young people into willing, influential, accountable, thoughtful, calculating and brave visionaries, the epitome of the future youth leaders of our country.
If this is You, this is what you need to know about entering...
The mimimum requirements to enter
You need to be between the ages of 18-25,
You must have a South African Green ID Book, Smart ID Card or Passport,
Must have matriculated,
Be involved in a project of some kind AND have a portfolio,
Must be able to communicate well in English (Studio Debates are in English),
Be willing to live Johannesburg for a period 3 months,
Must have no family member working for the SABC.
