Former Carte Blanche stalwart Devi Sankaree Govender debuts her own show called Devi, airing Friday nights on both e.tv and eNCA.
 
Bringing her sense of humour and straight-talking approach to the talk show format, Devi will take you into the lives of a range of guests each week.

Conceived as an antidote to what Devi calls the "panic and negativity" brought about by the Coronavirus pandemic, the tone of the show will be "in your face".
 
According to Devi: "You will be outraged. You will laugh. You will be inspired while we keep it very real."
 
Devi will air every Friday night, premiering on e.tv at 18h30 and on eNCA (DStv 402) at 20h30.

The battle is on to find the most promising, undiscovered culinary talent in Australia, as ambitious kitchen enthusiasts take on demanding challenges in their bid to prove they have what it takes to become Australian MasterChef.

The competition starts with auditions, following which the top 50 travel to Sydney where they are put through their paces in a variety of challenges as they compete for a place in the final 24.

The final 24 must learn fast and up their game as they are challenged with cooking from a mystery box of ingredients, cooking the same menu as their competitors and hoping to come out top, and taking part in tasks that are completely outside of their comfort zone.

In the Season 11 premiere, "Auditions Part 1": Auditionees cook their dishes within an hour to secure their places in the Top 24.

Eighteen hopefuls received aprons with three votes from the judges, and 13 contestants with one or two "yes" votes have to cook again for the six remaining spots in the competition.
