Diggstown

This six-part series follows Marcie Diggs, played by Vinessa Antoine (Being Erica), a star corporate lawyer who, after her beloved aunt commits suicide following a malicious prosecution, decides to reconsider her priorities.

Set in the gritty arena of a legal aid office in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, the team of lawyers that Marcie works with are a curious band of do-gooders, cynics, and scrappers - messy souls struggling to keep personal disappointment and demons out of their practice.

They work directly in the community to find justice for their diverse clients, exploring issues of racism, poverty, and gender bias.

Marcie is driven by one thing - to never again allow innocent lives to be destroyed by the justice system.

In the series premiere, "Willy MacIsaac": Marcie faces off against a former colleague in her defence of Willy, a working poor dad accused of drunk driving.

Meanwhile, Pam hits Colleen's bureaucratic red tape when she volunteers to represent a disinherited friend.

Also, Marcie struggles to overcome her anger at the pastor who she believes helped drive her aunt to suicide.

Brian Cox's Adventures in Space and Time

Brian Cox's Adventures in Space and Time

Discovering our place in the universe. Brian Cox looks back on a decade of discovery and towards the next space frontier, asking the biggest question of all - what's next?

In the series premiere, "Space: How Far Can We Go?": Brian believes we are at the start of a new age of space travel, where space flight is on the verge of becoming routine.

In this episode, he explores the latest science and takes a new look at his old films and asks: how far can we go in our exploration of the cosmos?

Brian begins in Russia's cosmonaut training facility in the outskirts of Moscow, where he dons a spacesuit to discover what 'the right stuff' is and what it might take to carry out maintenance on the International Space Station in low Earth orbit.

It is an eye-opening experience that reveals just how physically demanding being an astronaut can be.

He then looks at some of the most extraordinary achievements of space exploration to date.

Under the clear sky of the Atlas Mountains, he tells the story of how we started to explore the cosmos from Earth.

Careful observation of 'wandering stars', now known as the planets, initially led our ancestors to believe that Earth, not the sun, was at the centre of our solar system.

But as our knowledge of the cosmos grew, so did our appetite to explore; eventually technology made it possible for us to take our first steps towards the stars.

In Russia's Star City, Brian visits the office of Yuri Gagarin, the first man in space.

At Cape Kennedy Space Centre he marvels at the enormous Saturn V rocket that launched the first men to the moon.

Brian reflects on the difficulties of filming this giant machine, and on his encounters with the extraordinary men who flew in it to the moon.

Looking to the future, Brian recalls his meeting with aerospace engineer and visionary advocate of Mars exploration Robert Zubrin.

He's credited with inspiring Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos to develop rockets with the aim of making the Red Planet the next frontier of human space exploration.

Professor Cox concludes that Mars will be the limit of human space exploration in our lifetime – our bodies can't withstand the demands of travelling much deeper into the cosmos.

To explore further, we must send robots in our place and Brian reveals some of his favourite probes to have uncovered the wonders of our solar system.

This includes Voyager 1, whose iconic image of Earth from deep space taught us the true value of exploration: perspective.

In the Season 5 premiere, "My Corona": Bull and the TAC team struggle to adjust to a virtual court system as they weather the New York City shutdown due to the coronavirus.

In the second episode of the weekly double bill, "The Great Divide": The TAC team experiences a conflict of interest in court when Benny represents the plaintiff and Chunk represents the defendant in the same civil suit, where a mother sues a young artist she deems responsible for her daughter's death.

Christina on the Coast 3

Endless opportunities and exciting adventures are on the horizon for real estate expert and designer Christina Haack in 14 new episodes of Christina on the Coast.

The season will follow Christina, a busy mom of three, as her SoCal design business expands with a new team and a booming client list of homeowners seeking renovations that spotlight her sought-after style.

While she juggles a busy family life and a flourishing business, the author and entrepreneur also will face personal challenges head on and place a special emphasis on her wellness journey and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

The fresh episodes will reveal personal projects and memorable moments very special to Christina, including her daughter Taylor's birthday party and her best friend Cassie's wedding.

She'll help design a stunning glass beachfront home in La Jolla and hunt for a new property in Tennessee, while also learning to surf and adding a new puppy to the family.

In the Season 3 premiere, "Heartfelt Hacienda Makeover": Christina will meet a musician and his wife, who has a strong sentimental attachment to their Spanish-style home where she grew up.

The property is in desperate need of a design facelift, specifically the cramped kitchen.

To maximise the space for this young family, Christina will extend the kitchen into an unused living area, adding tons of cabinets, a statement backsplash and reclaimed wood trim on the vent hood and large island that incorporate their desired modern hacienda vibe.

Christina will give her clients more stunning renovations throughout the season, incorporating elements such as a sauna, a handmade barn door and a custom bar for a wine-loving couple.
