No, MaNgwabe isn't producing her own spinoff of The Bachelorette to find four new husbands for herself - and if she did, she would definitely choose four and
not five.
That's not the plan and that's not why she isn't on SABC1's relationship talk show Igumbi Lamakhosikazi.
So where is she?
Everyone was expecting her to be on the show
when it started last month. The initial publicity material said she would be in the series but then later the artwork didn't include her and MaNgwabe was nowhere to be seen when MaCele, MaYeni and MaKhumalo gathered round the table in the series premiere.
We've been investigating to find out the skinny, which we got from her husband Musa Mseleku who's producing the show.
This is what he told us:
MaNgwabe could not participate in this season because of her work schedule. Secondly she has been not well. However she has made input as far as the content is concerned.
As you may or may not know, MaNgwabe's a nurse so the conflict of her work schedule didn't surprise us.
The fact that she hasn't been well did alarm us though because it must have made a significant impact considering the fact that she's managed to film all five seasons of their Mzansi Magic reality show uThando Nes'thembu despite her work schedule.
Even though she isn't on Igumbi, she appears in the credits where she's listed as one of four Content Researchers.
We wish her a full recovery. When there are four there
must be four and not three.
