Seems the more someone mistreats people, the more they profit from it, especially if they apologise in public after the damage is done.
This is the case with former Big Brother housemate Themba Broly who's landed a second season of his reality low My Inked World, starting on Mzansi Magic on Thursday 9 May at 20h00.
We said it when the first season started and we'll say it again: Big Brother Mzansi 3 winner Mpho Wabadimo was
effectively sidelined by Themba's reality show, portrayed as his side chick who ended up a single mother to his child and yet Themba's the one who gets the opportunity of another season of a TV show. Bah!
Anyhoo, it's happened and there's nothing we can do except hope that it emphasises what Mpho experienced with the R2-million prize money in her back pocket.
Not that we'll ever see the
real truth will we? Would be revealing to know her bank account now and how much papgeld Themba's paid.
This is the synopsis:
For Themba, this season of the show is all about Redemption. He is looking to become a better and present parent, to finally fulfill his career goals, to make things right with family, and to reconnect with those he considers his real friends.
Many things have unfolded in Themba’s life since the cameras went off on Season 1. While some of the events took place on camera, like Themba standing up Mpho and not pitching up at what was supposed to be their first cover shoot; to him constantly being late for all his meetings…One can safely assume that the relationship was going nowhere fast.
Now in this brand new season, a lot has changed! Firstly, Themba has a lot of fixing to do, and he is the first to admit it. And first on the list, is Big Brother Mzansi S3 winner and former girlfriend (and baby mama) Mpho Wabadimo.
He has a lot of apologizing to do and making up for past transgressions that left Mpho heartbroken and being a single mother to their son. Will this revive their relationship or is that door closed for good?
Moreover, this season will see him trying to revive his dream of going into business and also getting his music career to take off.
Hopefully, he has learnt some valuable lessons and is well on his way to making better choices when it comes to friends and possible business partners.
The season is subtitled A Redemption Song. Clearly equating himself with Bob Marley. Really now.
