Braam Malherbe is a South African extreme adventurer, conservationist, youth developer, motivational speaker, TV presenter and author best known for hosting a segment on the SABC2 wildlife and nature programme 50/50, called Get Connected with Braam.
In 2012, Malherbe took part in a race to the South Pole to create awareness for climate-change through the Cold Sweat documentary - a cause that lies close to his heart. The documentary aired on SABC3 in July 2012.
Braam is a youth developer, international motivational speaker and TV presenter. He and his friend, David Grier were the first men in the world to run the Great Wall of China (more than 4,100 kilometres in 2006). They were also was the first to run the entire coastline of Southern Africa (3,200 kilometres in 2008).
Braam is the author of the bestselling book "The Great Run", he is the Woolworths MyPlanet ambassador and spokesperson for various organisations.
