Bio

Hlubi Kwebulana is a South African singer, actor, songwriter, composer, arranger, producer, director and choreographer who has acted in several television shows including Isidingo, A Place Called Home, 90 Plein Street and Intersexions.

He co-produced the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup and was the producer of the 2013 AFCON opening ceremony.

Kwebulana was born in Cape Town and began performing professionally in 1997 with an African band called Jika Marimba and Dance Ensemble.

Hlubi has travelled around the world performing in various music and dance productions. He has also composed and arranged songs for local artists such as Asanda Bam and the late Labella Dani.
