Alexander Ludwig is a Canadian actor, singer and model best known for his film roles as Will Stanton in The Seeker: The Dark Is Rising; as Seth in Race to Witch Mountain and as Cato, the male tribute from District Two, in The Hunger Games.
He also has a starring role as the older Bjorn Lothbrok, the son of Ragnar and Lagertha who loves and admires his father above all men and desires to test himself as a fighter as well as an explorer, in the period drama television series Vikings.
Ludwig appeared in Grown Ups 2 alongside an all-star comedic cast including Adam Sandler, Kevin James and Chris Rock. He also starred in Disney's Race to Witch Mountain opposite Dwayne Johnson and Carla Gugino, and in the psychological thriller Final Girl.
A Vancouver native, Ludwig began his career at age nine with a string of commercial and television parts, after which he landed the starring role of Will Stanton in the 2002 action adventure The Seeker: The Dark Is Rising.
The actor is also a musician and athlete whose passions include competitive extreme freestyle skiing, cliff jumping, gorge diving, bungee jumping, surfing, wakeboarding, kite boarding, tennis, basketball and hockey.
