Kendra Etufunwa is a Nigerian model and actress best known for her starring role as Adana Soludo, a villainess who is the love interest of Bola Abayomi, in the M-Net drama series Jacob's Cross.
Initially a recurring character in Season 4, she was promoted to series regular for the fifh and final season.
Born in Nigeria, Kendra grew in South Africa and later relocated to New York and Paris. She was scouted at the age of 15 by Beth Models Nigeria and had several modeling jobs before relocating to South Africa. There she was signed by Star Model Management (which became Boss Models).
In 2010 she joined Jacob's Cross which led to her being cast as the lead female Ify, the daughter of a football coach played by Hakeem Kae-Kazeem, in Discovery Network's educational feature film Inside Story. The movie, which tells the story of life, love and the science of HIV, premiered in Washington DC, Kenya, Angola, Nigeria and South Africa.
Kendra has also appeared in several television commercials for brands including Castle Milk Stout, Diamond Bank, Lacoste and Cadbury Eclairs.
