Bridget Fonda is an American actress best known for her leading roles as Allison Jones in the 1992 movie Single White Female, and as assassin Maggie Hayward in the 1993 film Point Of No Return.
Born in Los Angeles, California, USA, into a family of actors, including her grandfather Henry Fonda, father Peter Fonda, mother Susan Brewer and aunt Jane Fonda.
She attended New York University when she was 18 and also went to the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute.
Movies she has appeared in include The Godfather: Part III (1990); Doc Hollywood (1991); Army of Darkness (1992); The Road to Wellville (1994); City Hall (1996); Jackie Brown (1997); A Simple Plan (1998); Lake Placid (1999); and Kiss of the Dragon (2001).
She has had guest appearances on the television shows 21 Jump Street, Night Visions and The Chris Isaak Show in 2002, which was the last time she was seen on either the big or small screen.
Fonda married film-composer Danny Elfman on 29 November, 2003. They have one son, Oliver, born in January 2005.
