Julian McMahon is an Australian actor and model best known for his role as Dr. Christian Troy in the drama series Nip/Tuck, from 2003-2010. Born in Sydney, New South Wales, McMahon made his television in 1989 debut with a recurring role in the Australian soapie Home And Away. From 1992 to 1994 he had a recurring role in the American soapie Another World. He has had lead roles in all of four seasons of both Nip/Tuck and the police drama series Profiler. He has also had a series regular role on two and half seasons of the sci-fi series Charmed where he played Cole Turner, a tortured demon. He has had a guest role in the television sitcom Will & Grace and had a role in the made-for-TV movie Another Day (2001). Film McMahon has had roles in following feature films: Wet and Wild Summer! (1992) Magenta (1996) In Quiet Night (1998) Chasing Sleep (2000) Meet Market (2004) Fantastic Four (2005) Prisoner (2007) Premonition (2007) Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007) McMahon also lent his voice to the 2005 video game Fantastic Four. On stage he has had roles in the Sydney and Melbourne productions of Love Letters.
