Season 2

Sokhulu & Partners, following the lives of three lawyers - Mabutho and Zweli Sokhulu and their partner, Pamela Thusi - returns for Season 2 with the partners at Sokhulu more determined to see justice done as they face their own humanity in their quest to protect the rights of those they serve.

Mabuto (Melusi Yeni) and Zweli Sokhulu (Thami Africa) - brothers – partner with the vivacious Pam Thusi (Linda Sokhulu) in their law firm, Sokhulu & Partners.

Their working partnership is threatened this time around when the brothers clash over their father's confession to murder and Winnie Molepo's subsequent blackmail.

Will they be able to separate their personal lives from their legal careers? Will they continue to serve the best interests of their clients? Watch as their stories unfold and brotherly bonds are tested.

The audacious, back-stabbing Winnie Molepo (Busi Lurayi) is back with a vengeance, determined to take over the Sokhulu & Partners firm. Will her personal life determine the decisions she makes in her career? Will she survive a personal attack from someone she believes she truly loves?

The role of Pumi, the beautiful front of house manager for Sokhulu & Partners is now played by Phumeza Dinati. She was played by Kholeka Qwabe in the first season.

The ongoing investigation of Sandile Sokhulu, the brothers' father, will be examined closely this season. Will Mrs. Gordon's (Claire Marshall) secrets at last be revealed in court? Will the brothers' integrity be compromised by their father's death bed confession?

Sokhulu & Partners gives law courts a human face and draws us into the corridors of justice and democracy. The cases that the partners take on are real, appropriate and are based on legal case law in South Africa.

In this season the show goes in depth into child trafficking, xenophobia, female chieftaincy, celebrity HIV status revelations, religious possession of illegal substances, international child adoption - and can a young boy really sue his father for not loving him?

The second season of Sokhulu & Partners has a cast of lead guest appearances including the following:

In Episode 1, Motlatsi Mafatshe, Xolile Tshabalala and Itumeleng Lobelo play alongside Arthur Molepo in an episode about child trafficking across our borders.

Episode 2 sees Sokhulu & Partners defend a Nigerian national (Anthony Oseyemi) and his wife (Florence Masebe).

Activists Tendi Mhloko (Nqobile Sipamla) and Neli Shabangu (Chumisa Cosa) take "The Big Bus" company to task to ensure safety and security on public transport in Episode 3.

The show brings back veteran actress Mary Twala in Episode 5, as she fights for what is rightfully hers.

Harriet Manamela stars as Ntombi Ntshebe in Episode 6. Is she guilty of murdering her daughter's drug dealer... or not?

Bongi Ndaba, Baby Cele and Bongani Madondo star in Episode 9 about a community that wants a female as opposed to a male to succeed as chief.

The screen heats up in Episode 10 as Buyile Mdladla, Ferry Jele and Soso Runqu star in an episode where a young boy is determined that his father should love him.

Clayton Misoya and Tango Ncetezo play daring celebrities who clash with a nosy reporter played by Shoki Mokgapa in Episode 11.

Carlo Radebe and Patrick Bokgapa show us what it means to stand by your principles in Episode 12.

The season ends off with a bang in Episode 13, starring Gugu Masonda and Bonga Dlamini where the brothers battle it out in court over a case of domestic abuse.
