When Michael's brother Lincoln is convicted of a sensational murder and put on death row, Michael decides to do something about it. Drastically!
Convinced of his brother's innocence despite the mounting evidence against him, Michael robs a bank to get himself thrown in prison alongside the doomed Lincoln.
Once inside, we learn that Michael - a structural engineer - has the blueprints to the prison, as well as a very eloborate plan to get Lincoln out and prove that he was set up for the crime.
Each week another piece of Michael's puzzle falls into place as he masterminds the ultimate prison break and attempts to solve the conspiracy that put Lincoln on death row in the first place.
