We told you about its return and the online auditions here, and now the audition dates and venues have been confirmed.

Season 4 of Clash of the Choirs premieres on Mzansi Magic on Sunday 24 September at 18h00, with a new dimension: choirs and individuals can enter.

The channel has confirmed that the series will create choirs consisting of individual auditionees so that the show features a mix of existing choirs and newly established ones.

Online auditions have been happening since June and the real world auditions start in East London today. We would have told you about them earlier but we've only just been told about them!

They're happening in all nine provinces from now until 19 August so you can either apply online or audition at a venue - a good idea to really be seen in the flesh.

The prize: R1-million for the winning choir and a monetary donation to a charity chosen by the winner.

Here's a link to the online applications again: Clash of the Choirs 4

A heads-up that the auditions in North West are happening at the Mmabatho Convention Centre, Mafikeng, and the Limpopo auditions are at the Meropa Casino, Ivy Park X14, Polokwane.

We've updated the article accordingly.
