Bio

Hugh Sheridan (born 1986) is an Australian actor best known for his role as Ben Rafter in the television dramedy series Packed to the Rafters, from 2008-2013.

At age 16, he moved to Melbourne after he successfully auditioned for The Australian Ballet Company. After studying with them for two years, he decided to audition with National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA).

Like his fellow cast mate and good friend Jessica Marais, he and the rest of their third-year class were asked to audition for Packed to the Rafters in 2007.

Although he acted in numerous stage productions at NIDA, Packed to the Rafters is Hugh's first television role.

He also enjoys writing, swimming and running. He also has a keen interest in sailing boats and barracks for the Port Adelaide AFL Club.
