Lyall Ramsden is a South African actor, producer and entrepreneur best known to television viewers for his starring role as John Walsh in the kykNET period drama series Donkerland, in 2013.
He started his career in the entertainment industry as an actor in Janice Honeyman's annual pantomime in 2004. He then went onto join productions such as The Sound of Music, My Fair Lady, The Lion King – locally and internationally for which he was nominated for an award, Beauty And The Beast, Ons Vir Jou, Grease, Uncle Max for BBC Film and Strike Back for HBO.
He has been involved in a number of corporate events, radio and television commercials, in all aspects. He also owns Ultim8, an intellectual property based operating company that specialises in providing entertainment services in producing, live entertainment, creative development, consultancy, eventing, management, marketing and sponsorship.
