Nyalleng Thibedi is a South African actress, model and qualified chemical engineer best known to television viewers for her role as Rama in the Mzansi Magic drama miniseries Single Mothers, in 2013 and for her role as Zekhethelo on the SABC1 soapie Uzalo.
Having graduated from UCT with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering in 2001, she branched out into modelling and acting. She studied acting in New York and performed in several productions there.
In 2012 she had a guest starring role in an episode of the SABC2 police procedural drama series Streets of Mangaung and has subsequently performed in several Lokshin Bioskop series and films for Mzansi Magic, including iLobolo, The Society and Single Mothers.
In March 2017 she joined Uzalo as Zekhethelo. She left the show in 2021, making her final appearance on Friday 10 September.
