Al Waxman was a Canadian actor best known for his roles as Larry King in the Canadian television series King of Kensington, as well as for his starring role as Lt. Bert Samuels on Cagney & Lacey, from 1982-1988.

Waxman died on 18 January 2001, during heart surgery. He was 65.
