Mpho Osei-Tutu is a French-born South African actor and screenwriter best known for his starring role as Abedniko "Niko" Manamela, a farm boy from Lesotho who is a taxi driver working for Bra Seputla, in the Mzansi Magic sitcom Samsokolo.

He received a nomination for Best Actor in a TV Comedy at the 2014 South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs) for his role as Niko. In the same year he was also nominated for a SAFTA for Best Writing Team of a TV Comedy (with Katleho Ramaphakela and Meren Reddy) for his work on the SABC1 sitcom My Perfect Family.

He later played the recurring role of Mr. Leleli on My Perfect Family.

Mpho was born in Paris, France to Mosotho and Ghanaian parents and currently resides in Johannesburg. Having lived in several countries, on two continents, he sees himself as a citizen of the world.

His love of acting began at the age of eight where he cut his teeth in the theatre. He has since appeared in commercials, TV series and films.

He holds a BA (Hons) in Dramatic Art from Wits University; where he majored in Performance, Television and Screenwriting.

On screen, acting roles include Snorty in Font, Sbu in Mzansi 2, Lerumo in For Sale, Vuyo in Molo Fish 2, Junior in Akin Omotoso's Rifle Road, Shanghai in Phillip Noyce's Catch a Fire and Desmond in the International Emmy-Nominated SABC1 drama series Home Affairs.

In 2013 he starred as Niko in the Mzansi Magic sitcom Samsokolo, returning for the second season the following year. In 2015 he starred in the Mzansi Magic drama series Ya Lla.

Mpho has guest starred in numerous other television series over the years including Intersexions, Kota Life Crisis, Kowethu, Black Sails, Mzansi Love, Rhythm City, Saints and Sinners, Isithembiso, Sober Companion, My Perfect Family and Z'bondiwe.

He has also appeared as himself on a number of shows including Rolling With... 4 (Celeb Edition) and Red Cake - Not the Cooking Show.

In 2018 he played the leading role of twins Tebza Modikoane and Gary Mokoena in the second season of the Mzansi Magic anthology drama series The Imposter.
