Season 3

Grammy Award-winning hip-hop sensation Eve returns for a third season of her eponymous hit series Eve as Shelly, a beautiful and intelligent woman of the new generation trying to navigate the exhilarating world of 21st century love, romance and career.

Strong and confident, Shelly brings a fresh attitude to the male/female equation and coolly expects to receive just as much as she gives.

Her two best friends, Rita (Ali Landry) - a gorgeous, single former model - and Janie (Natalie Desselle-Reid), an attractive woman very happy to be married and out of the dating scene, offer conflicting advice as Shelly tries to find her way on the rocky road to love.

Representing the male side of the relationship equation is J.T. (Jason George), a handsome, regular kind of guy who really enjoys being single; and his best pal, Nick (Brian Hooks), who is looking for that one perfect woman who can meet his very exacting standards.

Donovan Brink (Sean Maguire), the handsome, fashionable manager of Z Lounge, one of Miami's hottest clubs, is friends with both Shelly and J.T. and inevitably gets stuck in the middle when problems arise.

Shelly, Rita, and Janie are the co-owenrs of a fashion boutique called DivaStyle, J.T. is an athletic doctor, Nick is an IRS auditor, while Donovan is the manager of the Z Lounge, the hottest club spot in Miami.

The comedy examines a real and relatable male/female relationship from each side and looks at the battles of the sexes. In 2005, Eve received an NAACP Image Award nomination as Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her role as Shelly.

In the second season the gang continued to share laughs and martinis despite Shelly and J.T. going through a dramatic break-up while Rita money and dating woes.

Season 2 ended with Shelly facing a love dilemma. During a happy birthday gathering for Shelly, J.T. proposed to her, in front of her new boyfriend, Grant (Sharif Atkins).

In this third season Shelly embarks on a personal exploration by staying single and focusing on her business. She and the girls launch the DivaStyle clothing line, which causes friction between the three headstrong co-owners.
