They're back!

Well, Linda Ndlovu is and she's got her justice-wielding eye on a new crowd.

Last season she killed the Zwide family so instead of turning Housekeepers into a ghost story, the show's bringing a new family for Season 2.

It premieres on Mzansi Magic on Monday, 15 June at 20h00 with an all new cast, wrapped round Thando Thabethe who reprises her role as Linda.

Linda, who exists in that grey area between good and evil. Linda, the chameleon, who changes herself according to her company.

This season she's on a quest to clear her name of the Zwide murders when she takes on a new job working for the Ngubane family.

These are the wolves she'll be leading to slaughter...

Noluthando (Noli) Ngubane
Played by Xolile Tshabalala (Generations, Ingozi, High Rollers)

Ruthless, cunning, unforgiving and numbed from compassionate feelings.

Here's why...

She was raised by a mother who was a morgue cleaner and her mother’s exposure to dead people seemed to have altered her perception of reality.

Noli is married to Clive Ngubane and death is still in the family - they own a funeral parlour.

Clive Ngubane
Played by Lindani Nkosi (The Lab, 90 Plein Street, Isidingo)

A calm man of few words, but intimidating to those who don’t know him. His mother worked for a cleaning company - he can hold a conversation just talking detergents.

He's a former CA with a lucrative career because he's always been strict about numbers.

He met Noli within their circle of business and political acquaintances who he serviced as a CA, doing their books.

They were a perfect match because she was a genius business-minded person with a talent for getting things done With Profit

Sydney Ngubane
Played by SK Khoza (The Queen, iNkaba, Mzanzi Ridez)

Noli’s son from her previous relationship from before she married Clive.

He has recently returned from his international law studies overseas and is at loggerheads with his parents who want him to immerse himself in the family business.

Thuli Ngubane
Played by Kwezi Ndlovu (Isithembiso)

The second oldest Ngubane child who, unlike Sydney, is very much invested in the family business. She’s a mini-Noli in her ambition and bravery.

Linda’s arrival has her wary about Linda.

She declares that she can’t put her finger on what it is.

Mkhonto
Played by Lorcia Cooper Kumalo (Lockdown, Dans! Dans! Dans!, Backstage)

Her father survived a bush knife stabbing and named her Umkhonto while she was still in her mother’s belly, assuming she was going to be a boy. The name stuck.

Mkhonto’s loyalty lies with Noli who she grew up with. Life got hard for Mkhonto, she landed up in with the wrong crowd because of her temper and the life she had as a child.

Mkhonto was one of the first people Noli hired when she opened her funeral parlour. Over the years she’s become a crucial part of the business.

Detective Miya
Played by Dumisani Mbebe (Interrogation Room, Generations, Shooting Stars)

The new cop in town.

Handsome and serious about his job and cleaning the streets. He becomes Detective Conway’s thorn in the side when he proves to be more invested in the Zwide case.

Richard
Played by Nimrod Nkosi (Scandal!, The Queen, Utatakho
)

Fraudster, cheating and lying businessman. He marries rich women to stay relevant. He has a trail of debts that he's been running from.

Beauty
Played by Kayise Ngqula (Mina Nawe, Our Perfect Wedding)

A helper going through a turbulent time with her employer who is constantly showing unfair treatment towards her.

She is sweet and non-confrontational and tries her best not to offend anyone but as the abuse escalates, salary being cut or unpaid, demands mounting, she will confide in Linda who will suggest she gets legal aid.

But Beauty doesn’t have money for a lawyer and also doesn’t want to cause more trouble with her employer.

Detective Maluleka
Played by Liopelo Maphathe (Moferefere Lenyalong, Vat 'n Sit
, Gomora)

Mid-30s, with a dark past that prevents from being a good cop that she believes she is. She wants to do well as a cop but is constantly disempowered by male detectives. She lives with her family and is a breadwinner.

Also: Gabriel Mini returns as Detective Conway and Paballo Koza as Linda's brother Mtho.
