Zibuyisile comes from a family of four children and resides in Enkandla Village in KwaZulu-Natal. Zibuyisile grew up in a struggling household;her father married a second woman when she was 15. She had no problem when her dad took a second wife because it was the norm, but his decision messed up the family when he started spending more time in Empangeni. Zibuyisile finished school in 1994. Her dream was to get into nature conservation or information technology. She didn’t have money to further her studies so she did a secretarial course for 10 months, but couldn’t continue because of problems in her family. Zibuyisile works as a sales person but still desires a career in Information Technology because it would help her financially and would help her progress in life. Zibuyisile started taking karate lessons and she plays netball as a hobby. She says she can't ride a bike because she’s never owned one and she’s never had an opportunity to learn.
