Synopsis

Relentless features everyday women who stop at nothing in the name of justice. It spotlights real life women vigilantes on the right side of the law who expose crimes that would have remained uncovered if not for their tenacity.

Relentless plunges into the unexpected – with remarkable stories of heroic women who stop at nothing to pursue justice.

Each of the women profiled are faced with a mystery or crime that affected them personally. With little or no help from authorities, they take it upon themselves to uncover the truth.

Their backgrounds are diverse but they all share one common trait, an unrelenting drive to find answers and make sure that justice is served.

The premiere episode of Relentless is the story of one courageous wife, mother and first lady of the church that starts to put together a startling revelation that her husband and preacher “Bishop Anthony Glenn Owens” is not who she knew him to be.

She uncovers a revelation that will not only rock her world but uncover a secret that will prove that her marriage to this Man of God was full of deception, lies and deceit.

Another episode highlight is the story of Lynn Frey’s heroin-addicted step-daughter who went missing in one of most dangerous neighbourhoods of Vancouver. When authorities refused to investigate she began a one-woman crusade to find her missing daughter.

What she uncovered was a dark sinister world of over 30 missing women, a serial killer on the loose and a pig farmer who knew more secrets then he wanted exposed. Her fearlessness solved one of the most heinous crimes in Canada's history to date.

In each episode, the viewer is guided through the story by the courageous heroine herself as she retraces her steps and tells the viewer about her challenges, fears and ultimate triumph in her search for the truth.

Relentless examines the evidence CSI-style and visualizes the most dramatic moments with harrowing re-enactments.
