Molefe feels that Dorothy would prefer to be a single parent, so he reaches out to Isaac, who tells Molefe that he's being selfish and not helping anyone with his existential crisis.

Keletso realises that Molefe has disappeared and Isaac is furious with him. Meanwhile, Ona tells Funani about her idea to put on her own fashion show and fears he thinks it's silly.

Rea tells Isaac to find Molefe before Dorothy realises he's gone. Isaac finds him at a tavern he used to frequently visit and they have a sincere conversation about what fatherhood means.

Shoki tries to calm Nkosi, but he doesn't want Ona involved with Kopano. After Funani sings Ona's praises, Nkosi goes to Kopano and begs to be part of the deal again, falling right into Kopano's trap.

Kopano gives Nkosi three days to come up with the money, so he emotionally blackmails Faith into speaking to Funani on his behalf. But Faith tells Funani that Nkosi is asking for a ridiculous amount.

Funani confronts Nkosi about trying to use Faith to get his way and rejects the idea of giving Nkosi money. Nkosi contemplates stealing money from the House of Zwide company account.

Nkosi ends up embezzling funds from his father's company after receiving encouragement from Kopano. Nkosi uses delaying tactics to ensure no-one at House of Zwide knows money is missing.

Ona waits anxiously to hear news from the DTI and Molfe bites his tongue about what her father is up to. Later, Funani hands Ona a forged letter saying her DTI submission was accepted.

Ona is over the moon when she receives her first payment from the DTI. Faith realises that Funani is personally funding Ona's show and letting her believe that the money is from the DTI.

Molefe returns and announces that it was a false alarm and Dorothy had what is called 'Braxton Hicks' contractions. Shoki tells Nkosi that Kopano has forgiven, but he still needs to apologise.

Mavuso tells Ona that her application was rejected. Ona stares at the DTI acceptance letter and realises it's a fake. Later, she confronts Funani about lying to her.

Ona refuses to give Funani a chance to explain himself and their fight catches Faith's attention. Faith tells Nkosi that Funani funded Ona and he confronts Funani about believing more in Ona than in him.

Shoki struggles with Nkosi's past and asks Faith about him. Faith assures her that Nkosi is a good guy who's loyal to his family. Ona still refuses to speak to Funani, so Rea tells him to give her space.

Rea tells Ona the real reason her application was rejected and Ona suddenly feels foolish for judging Funani. Ona and Funani finally clear the air, but Ona still wants to do her thing on her own.

Kopano and Shoki tell Nkosi they just randomly ran into each other, but he's left disturbed by the interaction. Later, Faith hears them arguing about it and warns Nkosi to keep Shoki away from the family secrets.

Nkosi tells Kopano to stay away from his wife and he suggests that they go their separate ways when the deal is done. This only increases more tension between Shoki and Nkosi.

Shoki goes to visit Isaac and asks him about Alex Khadzi’s murder, but Isaac is not willing to answer, telling her to leave it in the past. This makes Shoki realise that Nandipha was right.

Shoki decides to leave the Zwide mansion and moves into the intern's apartment. Faith tells Funani to bring Shoki back into the fold before things get worse.

Funani worries how Shoki got the information about Alex's murder and wonders if Nandipha is involved. Kopano continues to toy with Nkosi, with no intention of returning his money.
