Universal+ is an international streaming service provided in South Africa exclusively on DStv which features a selection of boxsets to binge, as well as new shows and movies from linear channels including Universal TV, E!, DreamWorks, Studio Universal and Telemundo.
It is owned by NBCUniversal International Networks & Direct-to-Consumer.

ABOUT
NBCUniversal International Networks & Direct-To-Consumer and DStv made Universal+ available to DStv subscribers across Sub-Saharan Africa from 14 October, 2022.
The content is sourced from NBCUniversal's channels that are already on DStv, specifically Telemundo, E!, Universal TV, DreamWorks and Studio Universal.
Universal+ is an extension of the linear channels, at no extra cost.
DStv subscribers can use any Explora model decoderto accessthe streaming service, but they must be connected to the Internet.
Alternatively, they can connect to Universal+ via the mobile app or the DStv Now website.
Examples of television titles available at launch include Celebrity Game Night, Botched, Departure, Nurses, The Scent of Passion, Dragons: Race to the Edge and The Adventures of Puss in Boots.
