Episode 1
Maria da Paz, as a child, learns to make cakes with her grandmother. Adão and Ademir are hired to kill a relative of the Matheus'. Since she was a child, Maria has shown that she does not like the violence between the two enemy families. Time passes.
Maria makes a birthday cake for her nieces Virginia and Fabiana. Dulce gives an amulet to each of her two great-granddaughters.
Maria meets Amadeu and they discover that their families are rivals. Maria tells her family about Amadeu and they forbid her to see him again.
Manuel allows Amadeu to meet Maria, but sends Vicente and Murilo to kill her. Hélcio tries to kill Amadeu, but ends up dead, as does Murilo.

Episode 2
With the help of Father Elias, Maria suggests a peace pact to the families: she'll marry Amadeu. Maria and Amadeu set the date of the wedding and make love. The two families meet at the church.
Amadeu is shot at the altar and Maria is upset. He's taken to the hospital. Maria is taken home and becomes furious with the family. Evelina suggests to her daughter that she run away to save herself.
Maria asks who shot Amadeu and Dulce confesses that she was the one who shot him. Zenaide confesses that she helped Dulce. Ticiana overhears them. Manuel and Nilda are worried about Amadeu's condition.
Ticiana tells her family who shot her brother, and everyone decides to get revenge.
Rael alerts his family to Maria's escape. Miroel, Ticiana and Vicente look for Maria at the church. Aírton and Josiane take their goddaughter to the bus station and avoid a confrontation with the Matheus'.

Episode 3
Miroel sends Vicente to eliminate Virginia and Fabiana. Evelina plays with Zenaide and her granddaughters and Vicente captures Fabiana.
Amadeu's doctor informs Nilda that he may not walk again. Airton leaves Maria at the bus station, and she travels to São Paulo.
Vicente decides to leave Fabiana at a convent. Eusébio pretends to be the leader of a group of people evicted from a building to give an interview. Dorotea is worried about her children and demands that her husband do something.
Maria arrives at Marlene's house. Eusébio finds an abandoned house and takes his family there and Maria does not let Marlene report them.
Evelina goes to the Matheus’ house to find out the whereabouts of her granddaughter and decides to talk to the police. Zenaide is forced to flee with Virginia.
Vicente and Miroel surprise Zenaida - she yells at her daughter to run away. Vicente shoots Zenaide.
Friday 7 March 2025
Episode 4
Beatriz and Otávio find and rescue Virginia and take her to the hotel where they are staying. Marlene gets Linda to recommend Maria for a job. Dodô asks to use Marlene's kitchen and Maria avoids a conflict between the neighbours.
Linda takes Maria to work at Agno's house. Gladys and Lyris meet Maria, who starts working immediately. Otávio and Beatriz decide to return to São Paulo and take Virginia with them. Evelina learns that Zenaide and Virginia did not make it to São Paulo.
Dulce claims that she will find out what happened to her granddaughter and great-granddaughters. Régis meets Maria and is delighted with the cake she made.
Maria faints and Régis calls a doctor. Gladys tells Maria that she's pregnant.
Monday 10 March 2025
Episode 5
Gladys and Lyris say goodbye to Maria. Régis takes her home. Marlene tells Father Elias that Maria is pregnant and that the young woman wants to know news of Amadeu.
Dodô and her family enter Marlene's house, attracted by the smell of the cake that Maria made. Eusébio suggests that Maria sell her cakes on the street. Marlene asks Mr. Antero for his car to go out and sell the cakes.
Amadeu wakes up. Dulce decides to go to the Matheus' house to ask for news of her granddaughter and great-granddaughters.
Miroel, Ticiana and Dulce shoot each other. Dulce kills Vicente and sets the house on fire. Dulce tells her family that Zenaide is dead, but that the girls are alive; and asks them to find them. Maria receives news from her family and promises to look for her nieces.
Tuesday 11 March 2025
Episode 6
Marlene advises Maria to stay in São Paulo. Nilda tells Amadeu what happened to the family. Ademir goes to the police to get news of Zenaide. Régis criticizes his mother for firing Maria because she is pregnant. Eusébio takes Maria to sell cakes, but crashes Antero's car.
Chico gets a cart so that Maria can continue selling her cakes. Amadeu leaves the hospital. Evelina tells Ademir that she knows what to do to keep Amadeu away from his daughter. Amadeu does physical therapy with Gilda.
Maria's cakes are a great success. The Mother Superior decides to raise Fabiana. Vivi and Fabiana refuse to take off the amulet that their grandmother gave them.
Evelina and Nilda make a pact. Amadeu breaks down when he finds out that Maria is dead. Evelina lies to Maria and tells her that Amadeu died and she goes into labour.
Wednesday 12 March 2025
Episode 7
After a scare, Maria gives birth to her daughter prematurely and names her Josiane. Marlene demands that Maria receive good care at the hospital. Maria returns home and starts making cakes.
Evelina worries about her missing granddaughters. Maria sells her cakes on the street. Marlene makes Antero give up his premises for six months to run Maria's bakery, and with that help, she opens her first bakery.
Amadeu marries Gilda and moves to São Paulo. Maria's bakery is successful, and over the years, she opens a cake factory and 22 bakeries. Márcio talks to Maria about acquiring two new bakeries.
Zé Hélio acts clueless when the family asks him about Edison.

Episode 8
Maria is surprised by the criticism she receives from Josiane and feels hurt. Jo tries to convince her mother to invest in her new job, and Maria takes Josiane to ask Marlene for advice. Jose Helios is invited to give his opinion.
Rock introduces Jo to Vivi. Vivi recommends Kim's services to Jo, who presents her style and the high price of her work. Amadeu encourages Gilda to change her line of work.
Maria asks Márcio to get her an invitation to the event, because she wants to surprise her daughter. Vivi is in high demand at the charity event. Régis approaches Jo.
Maria arrives at the auction and doesn't realize that everyone is making fun of her appearance. Jo notices her mother's arrival and flees the event. Maria looks for Jo, who kisses Régis to hide from her mother.

Episode 9
Maria accidentally ends up spending at the auction. Jo and Régis kiss. Agno scorns Lyris.
Gladys makes an appointment for therapy for Lyris in order to save her marriage. Vivi receives an invitation to go on a TV show.
Jo forces Maria to sign the contract with Kim. Maria is upset when she sees Kim throwing away her daughter's clothes.
Edison returns and the whole family is shocked when she introduces herself as Britney. Maria helps the family accept Britney.
Mother Maria Cecília questions Fabiana about her decision regarding the convent. Vivi is interviewed on the TV show and shows her amulet. Fabiana recognizes her sister on TV and becomes emotional.

Episode 10
Fabiana tells her discovery to the Mother and asks for help to go to São Paulo. Otávio looks at Edilene with interest. Britney goes to the cake factory and Abel is enchanted by her. Maria hires Britney.
Amadeu sets up a job interview for Gilda. Amadeu is intrigued by the name of the owner of the company where Márcio works. Maria goes shopping with Kim and Josiane. Lyris meets Gilda.
The Mother advises Fabiana on how to approach Virginia. Kim asks Jo to convince her mother to rent a photography studio. Ellen advises Maria to have a love affair.
Amadeu goes to the cake shop and Gilda is furious. Gilda asks Amadeu to find the owner of the cake shop to clear up her doubts.
Fabiana says goodbye to the nuns at the convent. Virginia talks to Camilo about her sister. Nilda forces Rael to promise that he will avenge the Matheus.

Episode 11
Nilda forces Rael to promise to avenge the Matheus. Rock demands Maria’s sponsorship from Josiane. Lyris decides to surprise Agno, but everything goes wrong. Régis takes Josiane to a motel and pretends to have forgotten his wallet.
Gilda asks Amadeu to find the owner of the bakery where Márcio works, to remove the doubt about Maria. Márcio reprimands Maria for her excessive spending.
Rock tries to humiliate Josiane in front of Vivi, but Vivi defends Jo. Régis does not get money from Agno.
Márcio tells Amadeu that Maria will be at the bakery. Lyris asks Gilda to keep an eye on Agno. Régis steals Gladys' earrings. Amadeu and Maria meet again.

Episode 12
Maria faints and Amadeu takes her to the hospital. Régis sells the earrings he stole. Gladys accuses the employee of stealing her jewelery. Maria and Amadeu meet. Rael arrives in São Paulo.
Beatriz sees Otávio flirting with Edilene. Fabiana gets an interview with Agno at the construction company.
Agno suspects Régis' interest in Gladys' jewelery. Agno goes out to a supposed business dinner and Lyris is suspicious.
Gilda tells Silvia that she is worried about Amadeu's delay. Maria tells Amadeu that they have a daughter. Jo asks Régis for money.
During the night, Otávio goes to Edilene's room. Lyris is surprised when Agno comes home hungry. Régis explains to Jo his true situation. Maria finds out that Amadeu is married.

Episode 13
Amadeu tells Maria that he can't separate from Gilda. Amadeu explains to Gilda that he found Maria da Paz. Maria tells Josiane that Amadeu is alive.
Gilda discovers that she has a lump in her breast. Maria questions Márcio about Amadeu. Maria introduces Amadeu to Josiane, who pretends to like her father.
Otávio looks for Edilene, Vivi sees them together and pretends not to not notice. Fabiana starts working at the construction company.
Gilda tells Lyris that Agno has impeccable behaviour at the company. Gilda goes to the doctor.
Virginia and Fabiana meet. Virginia is surprised by the connection she feels with Fabiana. Virginia demands that Otávio stay away from Edilene. Virginia offers to give Fabiana her clothes and invites her to her house.
Amadeu looks for Maria and says that he will divorce Gilda and stay with her.

Episode 14
Fabiana shows envy of the life her sister has. Otávio takes Edilene to a motel. Lyris decides to rekindle her relationship with Agno, but fails again. Jo tells Régis that her father's appearance will spoil her plans.
Gilda tells Amadeu that they found a lump in her breast. Maria waits for Amadeu all night.
Vivi suggests to her family that they give Edilene a scholarship. Cosme asks his daughter if she has a boyfriend, but she refuses to tell her father the truth.
Otávio offers Camilo a high position, but he rejects it. Amadeu tells Maria that Gilda may have cancer.

Episode 15
Amadeu tells Maria that Gilda is sick and they both decide to remain separated. Jo pretends to feel sorry for his mother and plans a meeting with Maria.
Rael informs Nilda that he found Maria and reiterates that he will keep his promise to kill her.
Vivi and Camilo communicate their engagement to her family. Edilene asks Sabrina for advice on how to get pregnant by Otávio. Agno continues to reject Lyris.
Régis and Jo plan a marriage to steal Maria's money. The doctor tells Gilda that they will have to remove one of her breasts.
Vivi invites Fabiana to work with her and Fabiana accepts. Kim makes a pass at Márcio. Régis invites Maria to dinner and she accepts.

Encouraged by Jo, Maria agrees to go out with Régis. Jennifer introduces Maria and Rael, so that she hires him.
Antero proposes to Eusébio to recover his inheritance. Jo tells Régis how to court Maria. Gilda tells her family that she has cancer.
Camilo gets jealous because of Vivi's photos. Edilene breaks Otávio's condom. Kim meets Márcio at the disco and flirts with him.
Maria gets excited about Régis' personality. Kim goes to Márcio's apartment. Lyris gets angry with Agno and tells her family. Abel shows a lot of interest in Britney.
Jo asks Rock to pretend that they are a couple to get money from her mother. Rael goes to Maria's factory. Régis gives Maria flowers.

Episode 17
Régis gives Maria flowers. Rael remains on the lookout. Márcio wakes up with Kim and she makes him hostage to her passion.
Márcio tells Maria that Kim is crazy, but she defends Kim. Kim advises Vivi not to give in to Camilo's whims.
Antero accepts the case of Eusébio's inheritance. Jô plans with Régis to provoke a fight between Maria and Amadeu.
Lyris tells Linda about her marital problems. Fabiana starts working as Vivi's assistant.
Jô shows his prejudices in front of Gilda. Jô pretends to hurt her foot so that her father takes her home. Ellen believes that Jô's intention is to bring her parents closer.
Régis arrives at Maria's house and Amadeu questions her about Régis.

Episode 18
Amadeu argues with Maria because he is jealous of Régis. Marlene asks Britney for advice. Gilda notices that Amadeu is jealous of Maria.
Rock demands that Jô give her the promised sponsorship in exchange for the fake relationship. Edilene tells Sabrina that she has punctured the condoms to get pregnant by Otávio.
Vivi asks Otávio not to hurt Beatriz with his affairs. Fabiana encourages Vivi to wear exactly the clothes Camilo asked her not to wear.
Amadeu gets the bank loan for Gilda's surgery. Antero asks Camilo to locate Eusébio's father. Tonho tells Maria that he has a bad feeling about Rael.
Jô asks his mother to give her the money for Gilda's surgery. Maria gives her a cheque and Jô gives it to Kim to pay for the photo studio. Gilda makes an appointment for the surgery.

Edilene tells Sabrina that she is pregnant. Cássia gets upset about her father's overprotective attitude.
