MOVIE HIGHLIGHT M-Net Movies 1 to air local coming of age movie Late Bloomer as part of the channel's Valentine's line-up. Nicole Fortuin stars as Lauryn, a party girl in her mid-30s who is forced to grow up when she falls pregnant. Directed by Amy Jephta, director of South Africa's Oscar submission Barakat. Airs Saturday 12 February at 20h00. Will be on Showmax from 28 February.

The film follows Lauryn, a woman for whom nothing is permanent - not jobs, relationships or even living arrangement. 

Not only must she confront the choices she’s made, she also needs to contend with her changing body. 

Other stars include: Tankiso Mamabolo, Danny Ross, Monique Rockman and Kate Pinchuck.
