e.tv cans Nikiwe after nine months on air. According to e.tv's statement, it's because it "has not delivered anticipated ratings". It premiered with 1,455,901 viewers in April 2023, peaked at 1,937,014 in October, followed by 1,770,046 viewers in November. A pity it's been yanked because its celebration of peace and love is fresh in a soapie landscape crammed with too much violence. Ends in early 2024.
