Michelle Botes (1961-2024) was a South African actress best known for her role as villanious Cherel de Villiers-Haines in the SABC3 soapie Isidingo, from 1998-2007; and again from 2010.

On 23 February 2010, TVSA broke the news that Michelle would be returning to her role as Cherel in Isidingo. This news was confirmed in May 2010 and she returned in August the same year.

Michelle was also known for her starring role as Ingrid Jordaan on the M-Net Afrikaans-language soapie Binnelanders, between 2007 and 2010. She returned to the show in 2019 where she made guest appearances as Ingrid until 2022.

In 2020 she had a starring role as Dawn Pretorius on the SABC1 drama Family Secrets and between 2020 and 2022 she starred as Angelique Price on the M-Net soapie Legacy.

Her other TV roles include Kietie Bosman on both seasons of the SABC2 drama series Onder Draai die Duiwel Rond (1997) and the 1994 TV1 series Triptiek where she starred as Bibi Brinkman.

Other Qualifications:
