Martin Kratt is an American zoologist, writer, producer and filmmaker who's best known for the wildlife documentaries he makes with his brother Chris Kratt.
A graduate of Duke University, Martin has a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology and was awarded a Jenrette Fellowship to the University of North Carolina/Chapel Hill MBA program.
In 1990, Martin and Chris founded The Earth Creature Company that speciliases in wildlife entertainment. Shows the company has done together include Kratts' Creatures, Zoboomafoo and Be The Creature.
Together with Martin, Chris also founded Kratt Brothers' Creature Heroes, which is a non-profit organisation that inspires children to help and take care of wildlife.
Chris and Martin have also written eight children's wildlife books. Titles include To Be a Chimpanzee and Going Babooning.
